PLEASE READ THE BELOW IN IT'S ENTIRETY! 

SIEMT offers five basic EMT courses and various EMT refresher courses each year. 

Spring and Fall EMT classes offered in Staten Island are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (with the occasional Wednesday) from 7pm-10:30pm. 

Spring and Fall EMT classes offered in Brooklyn are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings (with the occasional Tuesday) from 7pm-10:30pm. 

Summer EMT class (Staten Island Only) are held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays evenings from 7pm-10:30pm. The summer class is given a week of during the Independance Day week.

This program is the revised New York State Department of Health Emergency Medical Technician curriculum, which includes lectures & practical skill sessions, 2020 CPR/AED guidelines, Haz Mat & Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) training.

In addition to classroom time, all students are required to spend 16 hours of clinical observation on an Ambulance, which will be arranged by the training center.  

This program meets & exceeds the FDNY requirement  for the Civil Service position of EMT & Firefighter.

PREREQUISITES:  Applicants must be Seventeen years old by the end of the course, and be able to read & write in English.  A driver's license is not a requirement.

SI LOCATION: SIEMT Training Center, 94 McClean Ave, Staten Island, NY 10305.

TUITION: $1,480.00 that will be paid as follows: A non-refundable $200.00 deposit upon submission of this application which reserves your seat and covers the enrollment fee. The $1280.00 balance is due on or before the first night of class. We accept Zelle, Cash, and Checks.  If you are in need of a payment plan, please contact the Course Sponsor Administrator directly to discuss (Billy.McDonald@siemt.info) We encourage students who have their own laptop or tablet to utilize it during the class.  If the student does not have access to a laptop or tablet there will be a mandatory $100 deposit for a tablet which will be issued and has all course materials.  Upon return of the tablet to SIEMT by the student the deposit will be refunded. Students will have the option to use the deposit of $100 towards the CEVO V course ($50), which provides the student additional points on the FDNY EMT exam. 

The tuition includes all necessary technology (Google Classroom)  EMT equipment (class ID, class shirt, blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, pocket face mask, oxygen wrench, and penlight) and study materials.
